1. What We Collect

Email Address: When you join our waitlist or register, we collect your email for product updates, launch announcements, and important communications.

Usage Data: We collect technical details like which AI models you use, system prompts used on chats, token counts (incoming/generated), and premium subscription status (subscription date, renewals, etc.).

Subscription Data: If you buy premium, we record your Lemonsqueezy subscription ID and payment status. We never see your card or financial details—those are handled securely by Lemonsqueezy.

2. How We Use Your Info

Communication: We use your email to send essential updates, launch announcements, or feature releases. You can opt out anytime by contacting us at [email protected] or unsubscribing.

Analytics: We analyze system prompt usage and technical data to improve GhostLM and understand how people use our app.

Account Management: We manage your premium subscription status and access.

3. What We Don't Do

We do not log or store your chat history on our servers.

We do not share your information with third parties (except what is required for payment processing or by law).

We do not build user profiles for advertising or sell your data.

4. Third-Party AI Providers

GhostLM sends your AI prompts, system prompts, and model selections to our upstream provider, OpenRouter, who may process your requests with various AI vendors (like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google).

Important: We cannot control or guarantee how these third-party providers process or store your data. Please see OpenRouter's Privacy Policy.

5. Children

GhostLM is not intended for users under 16. If you are under 18, use at your own risk, and please do not provide us with personal information.

6. Sensitive Information

We recommend you do not submit sensitive personal, health, or financial data using GhostLM. While we strive to protect your privacy, requests sent to third-party AI providers may be logged as part of their normal operations.

7. iCloud/Cloud Storage (Future Feature)

If in the future you choose to sync your chat data with iCloud, it will be stored under Apple's security and privacy terms, not ours.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Waitlist/Account Data: Stored until the product launches or you request deletion.

Subscription Data: Kept as long as required to manage your premium access.

Deletion: To delete your account/email, just email [email protected]. We'll erase your info within 3-5 business days.

If GhostLM shuts down, all user data will be deleted. If GhostLM is acquired, data may be transferred to the new owners, who are expected to honor similar privacy commitments.

9. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in GhostLM or the law. When we do, we'll post updates here and email notice if appropriate.
